Key really wants our money, don't they?

They just announced a new Na-Ga artbook with pictures from Little Busters!, Angel Beats and Charlotte. Thing is... it's 8k yen.

8k yen. For a freaking artbook. Seriously? The average prices of Little Busters-related artbooks has ranged from around 3-4k, according to MFC... so 8k is frankly ridiculous. o_o Apparently, it's a limited edition luxury binding version being sold at Key 15th Fes... is the binding seriously worth an extra 4k? Why would anyone splash out that much money for something like binding... ridiculous.

It might end up on the Visual Art's store at some point. Even the C87 Key set is up there now. I already got Na-Ga's rough note book though, so not interested.

If the Natsume siblings tapestry illustration was in there... I just might be tempted...

But they're calling it a luxury binding *version*. That means there might be a non luxury binding version.

Imagine if I threw 8k at it (oh, don't forget shipping and customs, and probably a proxy/forwarding fee) and then they later released a 4k version. I'd probably be screaming "CHEAP TRIIIIIICKS!" at their Twitter if that happened.

I honestly think Key's just trying to take advantage of the fans who are willing to throw all their money at them. Like those people who backed 7k on the Clannad kickstarter.

If you want my money so much, Key, localize Little Busters. Oh, god, no, a kickstarter would be way too dangerous.
