Another figure order
Mar. 10th, 2015 05:40 pmWell, looks like construction on my house is actually finished now, but there's still the matter of flooring and carpet which shouldn't take too long. I could move in by the end of next week apparently. Awesome! \O/
Of course, this means... time to order figures! :D Seriously, I can't stop thinking about Rin figures. I have a problem. c_c Still should wait a little. Let's not forget how quickly the Beach Queens Rin figure got here.
I've already put in an order for the Nekobiyori Rin figure. She was on Terraformer for only 5,980 yen :o (Yes, that's cheap for her considering the sky high prices I've seen elsewhere...) I couldn't let this one get away. Plus, more Rakuten points, yay~ She'd actually been there for a while, I was considering her and just waiting, then her listing got bumped up so I got scared she'd get snapped up.
Might wait a bit to send the actual payment when I get the email (Maybe just 3 days or so. They only give you a week after all.) just to be on the safe side.
I'll wait a little bit longer to get the other Rin figures.
My house is tiny. I hope I'll have enough space for something to display my figures in (something like a bookcase, I guess. Not interested in a glass cabinet.)
The more I look at pictures of Nekobiyori Rin on MFC, the more I fall in love with her. Ugh, I want her so bad.
Funnily enough, I tweeted some time ago that I'd never own Cospa Rin and Nekobiyori Rin, because they were so damn expensive wherever I saw them, and now I'm getting them both.
There's another scale figure Rin I haven't mentioned, the Toy's Works one. She's alright, but I don't think I've seen her anywhere and she's not very popular on MFC. Oh, found her dirt cheap on Amazon.jp... what a boring looking base though, meh. She honestly looks like a prize figure. I'll stick her on my wishlist for now.
... She's still better than Enterbrain Rin. Yes, I *really* hate the pose.
Whoah, I just noticed she has two 2 star reviews on Amazon.jp. Why? o_0 Hmm, seems they are complaining about it being so similar to the Kotobukiya figure (they have a point. I was afraid of mixing the two up myself.) and some quality issues. ... Might just give it a pass after all.
