Nyatsume Kyoudai
Mar. 12th, 2015 09:43 amOh, cool, the Nyatsume Kyoudai book and straps were on Suruga-ya for 780 yen. I've just ordered it through FromJapan... I think. Hopefully. Yes, even if they did have the last item I ordered in stock, I'm still wary of Suruga-ya. I will never forget that bullshit with the tapestry.
I thought I'd give ProxyRabbit a try. They responded to my request, asking me to confirm the order, I replied to go ahead and waited for them to invoice me.
An hour later... nothing.
I got impatient and went to FromJapan instead. It was much quicker. The item's been ordered now, hurray~ I was just afraid the item might go out of stock while I was waiting >< And FromJapan's quote actually ended up being slightly cheaper than ProxyRabbit too because of this sale they have going on. Nice.
I understand people running proxy services aren't tethered to their computers 24/7. They have lives. But it was just taking too long for me. I would have expected a quick response to a simple confirmation email.
FromJapan's pretty cheap, so I think I'm going to use this proxy service from now on. Maybe I'll use them for auctions too since they are apparently good for that as well. They will be my go to place if the holy grail ever pops up.

... It doesn't say "Little Busters" anywhere in the title or the item description. I would never have found this with my usual search terms. WTF indeed. Then again, that might have worked out to be a good thing for me. :D I found it Google searching "Nyatsume Kyoudai" in Japanese.
The straps are pretty cute. I hope I actually get them. ^_^
I realize I was probably being a bit unfair considering it's evening in Japan right now, but it's almost two hours now since I emailed the other proxy back and... yeah. There was only 1 in stock and I was afraid it would go out of stock while waiting. Their business hours aren't even over until 9pm. Oh well.
