Customs and Kickstarter

I had a horrifying realization this morning.

Let's say you back a Kickstarter, and you receive goods in exchange for pledging. The goods have to be sent and marked with their value... thus, putting you at risk of customs charges. D: Oh god... they'd probably put the value of whatever you pledged too.

So, if a Little Busters kickstarter happens and I pledge, let's say, 1k, that means I get goods marked to the value of 1,000 dollars @_@ That's £678 (holy cow) 20% of that is... £135.

Sob. orz

That would be £813 total, plus the handling fee. D=

Look, I love Little Busters very, very much but... ;_;

Well, it's not like a kickstarter has even been announced, why am I freaking out over this.

I'd gladly pledge a few hundred or so. But I'd have to take customs charges into consideration at the same time.

I am taking this hypothetical situation way too seriously.

Fuck customs. Can I just move to another country outside of Europe?
