Summer Pockets

Huh, Summer Pockets didn't get delayed. Shocking. So it's out in Japan now.
I don't think we'll see an English translation until 2021 at the earliest and yet I still think 2021 is insanely optimistic. Especially if Visual Arts commissions Sekai Project to work on the translation. They went back to them for Rewrite+ so yeah. I wonder who they had doing Angel Beats. Been three years since we heard it was at fifty percent and nothing since. Weird.
So, Summer Pockets, huh. It does look promising. Kamome is best girl, yes.
I kinda hope we don't get any cop outs this time around. Well, Maeda's not involved in the writing, so who knows, maybe we'll actually get cold, hard, brutal, permanent death for a change. Good grief. I'm such a sadist. Eh. But I'm just tired of cop outs at this point. I mean, I'm very happy we got to save everyone in Little Busters and all that, but I feel like it's getting really overdone. Even Charlotte couldn't just keep the imouto dead, though I guess we still had a character get killed off and stay dead.
Give me a brutal tragedy. Give me death :D
Happy endings are so overrated.
I just want to see no punches pulled for a change.
Hmm. Summer Pockets is supposed to be reminiscent of Air. Soooooo... oh boy. Then again, the reason Maeda isn't involved much is apparently because they didn't want it to be too much like Air. Well, we'll see, I guess.
Will Summer Pockets make me cry? I hope so.
It's tempting to acquire it and go at it with a machine translator, isn't it. And I'd probably want to listen to the music tracks beforehand... hmm, I wonder if anyone's uploaded the music yet. But... but... the emotional scenes! The impact! Isn't it best to hear songs for the first time in their relevant scenes?
*twitch* *twitch* I don't know how I'll be able to restrain myself.
I never did get down to reading the demo, did I? Nope. Maybe I should do that someday. Decide if reading with a machine translator is really a good idea after all. I managed okay with Angel Beats, though I only skimmed through Matsushita's route, never bothered reading anything else. I also read Holy Breaker with a machine translation and it was a bit difficult to understand but I think I kind of got the gist.
At least Google Translate's working with Translator Aggregator, though who knows how long that will last. Can't get Atlas to work anymore...
